Yes, here’s what you need to know when renting with a Debit Card from Dollar:

• Credit Checks will be performed to determine creditworthiness.
• Proof of travel that coincides with the rental dates and 2 forms of ID are required.
• Under 25? No problem. You can rent using a debit card too. Restrictions Apply
• Incidental hold of $500 + cost of the rental will be applied at pickup. (Incidental Hold waived for Dollar Express members with a VISA in your profile after the first rental)

A prepaid rental car for someone else is not possible when renting with Dollar. When renting the vehicle at the counter, you must produce the same credit or debit card with which you paid online and a valid driver's license. The credit or debit card used must be in your name and presented at the time of rental. Once proof of this card has been provided, Dollar can accept any other valid credit or debit card in your name at the time of rental for taxes, fees, and incidentals.
